About This Remote

Denon’s AVR-3312CI was a 7.2-channel network AV receiver from 2011, built for custom installation environments and priced at $1,100. This replacement remote control brings full command back to its inputs, zone switching, audio processing modes, and networking functions. Its part number is the RC-1156, and it works over infrared with no programming, code entry, or pairing involved. The button layout mirrors the factory key arrangement, so every control sits exactly where AVR-3312CI owners expect it. It uses two AAA batteries.

Why buy this remote

  • Covers all seven audio zones and three-zone source routing the AVR-3312CI supports.
  • Controls Audyssey MultEQ XT, Dynamic EQ, and Dynamic Volume settings from the couch.
  • Mirrors the factory key arrangement for inputs, HDMI selection, and network source navigation.
  • Works with the AVR-3312CI’s AirPlay, DLNA, Internet Radio, and Pandora streaming functions.

Frequently asked questions

Will this remote control work with the Denon AVR-3312CI without any programming?

Yes. The Denon AVR-3312CI remote control is infrared-based and responds immediately once batteries are installed, with no code entry or pairing steps required.

What is the part number for this replacement remote?

The part number is the RC-1156. It was the remote control supplied with the AVR-3312CI at the time of its 2011 release.

Which functions on the AVR-3312CI does this remote cover?

This remote covers input switching across all six HDMI inputs, zone control for the Main, Zone 2, and Zone 3 outputs, audio processing adjustments including Audyssey modes, and network streaming source selection such as AirPlay, DLNA, Internet Radio, and Pandora.

Does this remote support the AVR-3312CI's multi-zone audio features?

Yes. The AVR-3312CI supports three zones with three independent sources, and this remote handles zone selection and source routing for all of them.

Can I use this remote to access the AVR-3312CI's Audyssey Pro calibration settings?

The Denon AVR3312CI remote control provides access to the standard Audyssey MultEQ XT, Dynamic EQ, and Dynamic Volume controls available through the receiver's menu. Audyssey Pro calibration itself is performed through a separate microphone and software process, not via the remote.

What batteries does this remote use?

It takes two AAA batteries.

Shipping and Delivery

๐Ÿ“ฆ Shipping Information

At USA Remotes, we’re committed to getting your replacement remote to you fast, free, and hassle-free โ€” the same way your remote shows up ready to use, with no pairing or programming. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how we ship, how long it takes, and what to do if anything goes sideways.

๐Ÿšš How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on every order โ€” always. No minimum purchase, no handling fees, and no surprise charges at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay.

๐Ÿข Where do you ship from?

Every order ships from our U.S. fulfillment center. We’re a U.S.-based company, so your remote never sits in customs or crawls in from overseas โ€” it ships domestically and arrives quickly.

โฑ๏ธ When will my order ship?

We move fast. Orders placed before 2:00 PM Mountain Time (MT) on a business day ship the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends, or on public holidays ship the next business day.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays.

๐Ÿš€ How long will it take to arrive?

Once your order leaves our warehouse, most deliveries arrive within 2โ€“4 business days. Paired with same-day processing, the majority of customers have their remote in hand within just a few days of ordering.

Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees, and can run a little longer during weekends, holidays, peak seasons, or severe weather.

โšก Do you offer faster (expedited) shipping?

We don’t currently sell a separate paid expedited option, but many orders go out via USPS Priority Mail, which typically reaches most U.S. addresses in 2โ€“3 business days at no extra cost.

If you’re in a time-sensitive situation, email us at cs@usaremotes.com before you order and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

๐Ÿ“ฌ Which carriers do you use?

Because remotes are small and light, the vast majority of orders ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) โ€” usually USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. For larger multi-remote orders we may use UPS or FedEx. The carrier is selected automatically to get your order to you as quickly and safely as possible.

๐ŸŒŽ Do you ship internationally?

Yes โ€” we ship internationally. International orders typically arrive within 8โ€“14 business days, depending on your destination and how long it spends in local customs. Carriers and shipping methods vary from country to country, so your order travels the most efficient route available.

Please note: international shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by the destination country. These are set by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the recipient.

๐Ÿ๏ธ Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and military addresses?

Yes. We ship to all 50 states, U.S. territories (including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands), and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. Because these rely on USPS, transit times may run a bit longer than the standard 2โ€“4 business days.

๐Ÿ“ฎ Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Absolutely. Since most orders ship via USPS, PO Box delivery is no problem. On the rare occasion an order ships via UPS or FedEx, we may reach out for a physical street address.

๐Ÿ” How do I track my order?

As soon as your order ships, we’ll email you a tracking number. You can also check your status anytime on our Track Your Order page. If you don’t see the email within a day of ordering, check your spam folder or get in touch.

๐Ÿ“ง Why does my order say “Completed”?

When your order ships, you’ll get a confirmation email and your order status will change to “Completed.” That wording can be a little misleading โ€” “Completed” simply means your order has shipped and left our warehouse, not that it’s already been delivered. Just use the tracking number in your email to follow it the rest of the way to your door.

๐Ÿ“ญ My tracking number isn’t updating โ€” what should I do?

It’s normal for tracking to go quiet for a day or two, especially right after a label is created or over a weekend โ€” carriers don’t scan a package at every stop. If there’s no movement for more than 3โ€“4 business days, email us at cs@usaremotes.com and we’ll chase it down for you.

๐Ÿ“ฆ My tracking says “Delivered” but I don’t have it

If the carrier marked your package delivered but it’s not in your hands:

  1. Check around your home โ€” porch, mailbox, side door, garage, or wherever packages usually land.
  2. Ask household members or neighbors in case someone brought it in for you.
  3. Wait 24 hours โ€” packages are sometimes scanned as delivered slightly before they actually arrive.

If it still hasn’t turned up:

  • Contact your local USPS office โ€” they can pull GPS delivery confirmation showing exactly where the package was scanned.
  • Contact us at cs@usaremotes.com or (720) 204-8889. We’ll help open an investigation and retrieve the GPS scan data if needed.

Insurance: Our shipments include carrier insurance against loss or damage. We’ll guide you through the claim process with the carrier and stay on it until it’s resolved.

๐Ÿ’” My remote arrived damaged or doesn’t work

Every remote is tested and packed with care, but if yours shows up damaged or has a defect, you’re covered by our 1-year warranty and full compatibility guarantee. Just contact us at cs@usaremotes.com with your order number (and a quick photo if it’s physically damaged), and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund right away. Full details are in our Returns & Refunds policy.

๐Ÿ  What if I entered the wrong address?

If you spot a mistake in your shipping address, contact us immediately. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can fix it. If a package comes back to us as undeliverable (wrong or incomplete address), we’ll reach out to arrange a re-ship to the correct address.

๐Ÿ”€ Why did my order arrive in separate packages?

If you ordered more than one remote, your items may occasionally ship in separate packages or arrive on different days. Each shipment gets its own tracking number, so don’t worry if one lands before the other.

โ„๏ธ Holiday & weather delays

Carrier networks slow down during major holidays and severe weather. We still ship on our normal same-day schedule, but transit times may stretch during these periods โ€” and once a package is with the carrier, those delays are outside our control.

โœ… Our commitment to you

Your satisfaction is our priority. If anything goes wrong with your shipment, we’ll work directly with USPS or the relevant carrier to make it right and get your remote to you safely. Nobody should be stuck without a way to control their TV, sound bar, or AC.
